# The Meaning of Noah’s Age of 950

– B. L. Freeborn, 2012

(This is a compilation of previous posts for easier reading.)

Noah’s age at death and The Number 950.

Death is a limit. Death limits life. 950 is just shy of a thousand. If one thousand is considered to be a limit then 950 is approaching the limit.

Other ways to look at this number are………………

Factor:

950 = 2 x 475 = 2 x 5 x 95 = 2 x 5 x 5 x 19 in prime numbers.

19 divided by 2 gives us back 9.5.

If it is the area of a square:

950 = 30.82² units per side.

If it is a the area of a circle:

950 = pi 17.39². The diameter is then 34.78 units.

If 950 is a circumference then 950 = 2 pi x 151.2 units. The diameter is 302.4 units.

Also 950 = 30.6 pi³ = 16.58 radians  = .69 x 24 radians  = 5.27 pi radians .

And 950 = 9.83³.

If it is in inches then 950 inches = 950 / 12 = 79.16 feet.

If it is in feet then 950 feet = 950 x 12 = 11,400 inches.

If it is in miles then 950 miles = 950 x 12 x 5280 = 60,192,000 inches.

Cotangent of 46.46 = .95

All of which means ???

This can generate a lot of numbers. Math and numbers have their own poetry. They supply and answer their own mystery. To some, like me, there is a certain comfort in numbers. Their rhythm is relaxing. Their honesty is reassuring.

The only way to understand the message in the Noah story is by looking at its numbers.  So if you don’t love numbers, you are not going to like this.

Here is a mystery that I have learned since studying this number message:

What is the square root of 123.456789?

11.111111060   x  11.111111060 = 123.456789

or for all intents and purposes 11.111111

While the square root of 12.3456789 is a rather uninteresting: 3.5136441829..

More 950 facts: 950 days = 2.6 years. 26 x 2 = 52 is the number of weeks in a year.

NASA sent a message into space with a recording of people saying hello in various languages. It also has inscribed images on the vehicle of a man, woman and child. We do not know who, if anyone, will receive this message but it was sent anyway. Perhaps in 10,000 years when we are long forgotten, people from Earth will find it and think there are other planets with people in the universe.

This idea of sending a message into the distant future may not be new. Perhaps it is old and familiar.

Noah is the last son listed in the generations of Adam. Adam is the theoretical first man. The first ten generations of man are then listed. 10. Notice the importance of this number. 10 fingers. 10 toes. It is a specific number implying perhaps shells, or levels, or steps. It is the number base we use. That means we count 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and then start over with 10, and then we count 11 12 13 14….. Base 10. So the authors, who were no doubt human, may have wanted to indicate base 10.

This is important because other number systems were in use. In fact, like us, we may assume they used two number systems. Base 10 and 60.

Do we use base 60?

Base 60 is the number system behind the clock and hour system. We count minutes in 60 seconds, hours in 60 minutes, and then use 24 to convert it to days.

But we have strayed off the topic of Noah’s age and the generations of Adam, the flood and all their inherent  mysteries.

Why are the numbers in the generations of Adam so important?

Because they survived repeated translation!

If you are devoutly reading your Bible and are taking it literally, “The literal translation of the Bible….” AND you believe that your literal translation is the words of God, you had best stop, and flip to the second page of your bible. If it has a copyright attached it is NOT written by God and in legal fact, someone real, who will sue you, has laid claim to the authorship of your religious tenets. In other words, your bible is a publication for profit. If your bible does not have a copyright, and is in English, then it is probably the work of William Tyndale and others from the early 1600’s. But it still cannot be taken literally!

The bible was written in parts, and none of those parts was ever written in Modern English. The language with which these sentences are written.

However, the numbers have survived repeated translation. Hence – 950.

A few more 950 numbers to keep us on topic: 950 hours is 39.583 days.

950 minutes is 15.8333 hours.  15.8333 / 24 = .6597 or about .66.

The authors of the Torah, which is the original version of the first five books of the old testament, wrote in Ancient Hebrew. Each and every word represented a complete idea: the thought concept and its ……………………….?

Number. Number? Yes. Each letter in ancient Hebrew equated to a number in the same way Roman numerals are both numbers and letters. When we look at any Ancient Hebrew word its numerical equivalent should reinforce the thought concept.

Now let us re-look at 950. If 950 was the limit of Noah’s years then let us decide it IS a limit to something. We equated it to inches and obtained:

950 miles = 950 x 12 x 5280 = 60,192,000 inches.

So, we see this is just more than 60,000,000 inches. But we look at this equation and pause to wonder why there are 5280 feet in a mile and why are there 12 inches to the foot.   12 x 5280 = 63360 inches to the mile. A number which does not seem all that important. But 2 x 5280 = 10560 feet. ??

If you spend some time calculating, you will discover that Noah was born in the year 1056 from the beginning of the world and he died in the year 2006.  That 1056 looks remarkably like the 10560 feet above! A co-incidence or was it by design?

By design is much more intriguing.

Let us look further at: 950 x 12 x 5280 = 60,192,000 inches.

If it is a limit then what does 60,000,000 equal? 60,000,000 / (12 x 5280) = 946.9 or 947.

Does this reveal any great secret?

Actually, it does. If you cannot stand the suspense, the whole meaning of Noah’s age, Noah’s Ark, the generations of Adam, the cuneiform tablet known as the Weld-Blundell Prism or the Ancient King List, gematria – the bible code, and much more, is revealed in my book  “The Deep Mystery.” Available soon on Amazon and until then by special request. See contact on left bar.

So, I will leave you hanging on Noah’s age for a while. Instead, we stop to look at the ark.

Eight people sailed on the biblical version of the Noah’s ark story. Noah sailed with his three sons and their wives or seven family members. This gives us the key number 7 in the family.

In older Sumerian versions the ark sails with the main character (not always called Noah), his family and their servants. Many more than seven.

The bible and other places reiterate the number 7.

There are seven days in a week. Why? The birds Noah sent out at the end of his journey were at seven day intervals. Why 7?

Why only seven people in this later version we might ask?

Speaking metaphorically: the ark could then represent Earth and the seven other people the seven other planets. (Pluto is no longer considered a planet by Nasa.)

Continuing with the metaphor…

The animals, both clean and unclean, were brought aboard. William Stirling in the late 1800’s noted that the animals were the Zodiac. Cancer, the crab; Scorpio, Taurus, the bull etc. would be the clean animals and the remaining animals of the constellations of the night heavens would be the unclean animals.

And why are there only seven days in a week?

The Bible is full of numbers especially the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. The concept of gematria replaces each letter with a number. Just as V is a letter it also represents 5.  The Bible may appear to be words but in actuality it is a string of numbers. Seven, 7, is a key number in the Torah and in other historical societies. The question is why.  The key numbers in the Bible are 12, 7, 6 and 40. Think of all the places 12, 7 and 6 appear in our culture. Then think about 40. “It rained for forty days and forty nights.”  Forty appears to be of importance in the Torah number scheme but in few other places. Or maybe it disguises itself as 4?

Does forty disguise itself as four or four as forty?

Forty seems to appear more often as four in actual existing culture whereas sixty seems to appear more often as six in the Torah.

There are 24 hours in a day, 24 = 6 x 4, four quarters of the globe and four seasons in a year. These are all arbitrary.  Someone at some time chose these concepts that we use on a daily basis. We live our lives around the seven day week. The religious will say it is because God created the world in 7 days. If you read the first Genesis passages carefully, you will note this is incorrect. It was “created” in 6 days plus 1 day for rest. 6 + 1 = 7. A very basic equation. Let me re-write that: 61.

Now 7 has become 61 and we may still not be seeing it completely. What is 61? You know this.

What is 61? How does it relate to the creation of the world?

Six days plus one for rest is 6 +1 = 7 or 61.

Sources on Gematria call the ‘one’  colel, especially in Greek gematria. It is supposed to be the practice of adding one to a desired sum and then saying it is the same number or quantity. It is like saying 666 and 667 are equal.

If you are talking about 666 bees chasing you, I suppose one more won’t make that much of a difference. I suggest that one does make a difference in the original Torah gematria in most cases, and correspondingly, it would change the determination of the underlying meaning.

60 minutes create an hour. 61 and you have an hour plus one minute. You have a complete cycle, a sweep of the minute hand around the clock, and you have begun the next cycle or period. 61 signifies ‘the next period.’ These people calculated in two bases, just as we do. Base 10 and base 60 each have a place in our world. Time is counted in base 60. Toes are counted in base 10.

Where else do we see this 60, 60 + 1 expression in the Noah’s ark story?

Since people are not inclined to do math, it is easy to keep secrets written in math such as we see in the Noah’s Ark Story.  Do devoted Christians really want to know someone is passing secrets over their heads and smiling while they do it?

So for those who would rather be in the know….

Where else do we see this 60, 60 + 1 expression in the Noah’s ark story?

We watch the clock at midnight on New Year’s eve. One tick of the clock and it is a new year.

We see a repeat of this number idea, the end of one period and the beginning of the next in Noah’s age at the time of the flood, “In the 600th year of Noah’s Life, in the  2nd  month, the 17th day of the month, ….” the flood begins. It ends “the 601st, in the 1st month, the 1st day of the month….” and the earth is dried by “the 601st year, 2nd month, 27th day of the month…”

Thus the ordeal lasted 1 year and 10 days. The emphasis on 1 cannot be more clear. New Year’s Day. The first tick of the clock into the next year, the next period. 600 and then 600 plus one second makes the 601st year. The second month, the 17, and the 27 are much more lengthy topics and of far greater importance. There is a specific reason these numbers were used that shows in the math. For those who are not scared by a string of plus signs there are some very high level secrets to be learned that are as pertinent today as the day they were written.

I discuss this at length in my book.  Yes, my book is full of numbers but it is -not my fault- these people talked, wrote and thought in numbers.

Stick with the numbers for a while and then there are many pictures. Those are worth a 1000 words!

Oh! And one final thought. Was it the Mayan who said the World had been destroyed five times before? So then, the 601 means we are in the 6th period of Earth.

1. You said “Seven people sailed on the biblical version of the Noah’s ark story. Noah sailed with his three sons and their wives. This gives us the key number 7.”

It appears you forgot Noah’s wife. And 1 Peter 3:20 which says “who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.”

Eight. Not seven.

• Gilgemesh says:

You are correct. Must have had seven on my mind. I corrected the post accordingly. Thank you. The verse in Genesis 7:7 “And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him…” Also in Genesis 6:18 with nearly the same wording.
